About this statement
Sweden Sites wants everyone to be able to use swedensites.com – whether you use a screen reader, navigate with the keyboard, enlarge the text or have low vision. This statement describes how the website swedensites.com meets the accessibility requirements, which shortcomings we know of and how you can contact us.
The statement covers swedensites.com in Swedish and English. Mina sidor and the help centre at help.swedensites.com are not covered by it.
The standard we follow
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at level AA. This is the level used in Sweden and the EU for accessible websites.
How we have reviewed the website
On 10 October 2026 we reviewed every page on swedensites.com with the automated testing tool axe-core against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA, at both desktop and mobile size. All shortcomings found were fixed, including insufficient colour contrast, text fields without a name for screen readers and incorrectly structured lists. After the fixes, the review found no shortcomings.
The same review now runs automatically every time the website is updated, so that new shortcomings are caught before they remain.
How accessible the website is
The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Automated tests find many but not all types of shortcomings. We have not yet carried out a full manual review with screen readers and the keyboard, so there may be shortcomings we are not aware of.
The website respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system: if you choose it, the pages are shown without animations.
Known shortcomings
The chat. The chat with Sweden Sites is provided by an external supplier, and we cannot influence how accessible it is. If the chat does not work for you, you can reach us just as well by email and phone, see below.
Content loaded while the page is shown. Some information, such as results when you search for domain names or use our domain tools, is loaded while you are on the page. That part of the content is not included in the automated review.
Links to other websites. Among other things, we link to the domain registries’ own terms. Each organisation is responsible for how accessible its website and documents are.
If something does not work for you
If something on swedensites.com is not accessible to you, or you need content in another format, email info@swedensites.se with the subject line “Accessibility” or call us on +46 651 130 70. Tell us which page it concerns and what does not work, and we will fix it or help you access the content in another way.
Updates
We update this statement when we have reviewed the website again or become aware of new shortcomings. The latest review was carried out on 10 October 2026.
