Questions about domain brokering
What does a domain broker cost?
A fixed fee of SEK 2,499 excl. VAT, paid upfront when you start the assignment. The fee is the same whatever the domain ends up costing.
Is the price of the domain itself included?
No. The fee is for our work as a broker. What you and the seller agree on for the domain is paid to the seller, and you always approve that deal before anything happens.
What if the owner does not want to sell?
It can happen – nobody can force a sale. The fee covers the work on the assignment: finding the owner, making contact and negotiating. We tell you how it goes and what the owner says.
Will the seller know who I am?
Not unless you want them to. If you choose to stay anonymous, we contact the owner on behalf of Sweden Sites and do not mention you.
How do payment and transfer work once we agree?
We help make sure the money and the domain change hands safely, and then move the domain to you – to Sweden Sites or the provider you prefer.
How long does a broker assignment take?
It depends entirely on the owner. Some reply within days, others take longer. We keep you updated throughout.
Can you help me sell my domain?
Yes. Choose “Sell” at the top, type the domain and what you want for it. We set a realistic price with you, look up possible buyers and handle the negotiation, payment and transfer.
The domain I want is available – do I need a broker?
No. If the domain is available you can register it right away in our domain search. The page tells you when you search.
